Dr Matthew Robortella (Osteopath) at Move Wise Osteopathy
At Move Wise Osteopathy, Dr Matthew Robortella brings a considered and individualised approach to patient care. He graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy), equipping him with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal assessment and management.
Matthew enjoys working with a wide range of musculoskeletal presentations and draws on a variety of osteopathic techniques, selected and adapted to suit each patient’s needs and clinical presentation.
A Background in Sport and Movement
Matthew has been involved in soccer from a young age, playing at both amateur and semi-professional levels. Through his participation in sport, he developed an interest in sport-related musculoskeletal conditions and the management of injuries associated with physical activity.
He values a collaborative approach to care and may include components such as exercise, rehabilitation strategies, joint articulation or mobilisation, and soft tissue techniques, where clinically appropriate. Matthew recognises that injury can influence participation in sport, work and daily activities, and works with patients to support their ongoing movement and function.
Beyond the Clinic
Outside of practice, Matthew continues to enjoy playing and watching soccer, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with movies.
